Katherine L. Osborn, O.D., FAAO - Mexico and Fulton

Dr. Katherine L. Osborn received her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry in 2006. She completed her residency at Harry S. Truman Memorial Veteran's Hospital in Columbia, MO. Dr. Osborn's training emphasized primary eyecare, as well as specialization in treatment of eye conditions (such as glaucoma) and systemic diseases that affect the eye (such as diabetes).

Dr. Osborn has special interests in primary care including the fitting of contact lenses, treatment of eye disease, pediatric vision and Lasik pre-operative and post-operative care. She is fully licensed to prescribe therapeutic pharmacological medication and treat ocular disease and emergencies.

Dr. Osborn is a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry as well as a member of the American Optometric Association and the Missouri Optometric Association. She is a published author in a respected optometry journal, presented at professional conferences, and has written articles for a local newspaper focusing on eye related issues.

A native of Iowa, Dr. Osborn graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Central College in Pella, IA. She is married with a son and enjoys spending time with her family.
